| Information | The old village of Llanelltyd (pronounced approximately as Clan-ech-tyd) sits at the junction of roads and rivers, and for centuries was the first bridging point of the river Mawddach from the coast. The Church, Bridge and nearby Abbey date back hundreds of years, and are each worthy of a visit There are no shops here but there is a restaurant with outside seating. Public toilets and parking are available beside Llanelltyd bridge. | |
| Public Transport | There is a stop on the A496 in Llanelltyd on the x94 Barmouth – Dolgellau bus route. There are stops at Llanelltyd on the A470 for Arriva's x32 Aberystwyth to Bangor service and the No 35 Dolgellau to Blaenau Ffestiniog service.
