| Information | This small railway station at the south end of Barmouth bridge was once the third biggest in Wales under its previous title of “Barmouth Junction”, with 5 platforms linking the railway inland to Dolgellau and beyond with the Cambrian Coast line. It is only a short walk across the famous Barmouth Bridge to all the facilities at Barmouth and the start and finish of both the Mawddach Way and the Mawddach Trail. There is free parking and public toilets beside the station, though the toilets are sometimes locked mid-week out of season. | |
| Public Transport | Morfa Mawddach is on the Cambrian Coast railway line and is served by the No. 28 Dolgellau – Aberystwyth bus service. Train and bus timetables are available from the Tourist Information office in Barmouth or click here to access a public transport journey planner. |
